Distraction robbery in Sittingbourne clothing store

Officers investigating a reported distraction robbery in Sittingbourne have released CCTV images of two women who may be able to help them.

The incident happened at The Edinburgh Woollen Mill shop in the High Street, between 1.30pm and 2pm on Friday 27 October 2017.

A woman had just withdrawn £4,000 from her bank to buy a new car but noticed the cash was missing after another woman bumped into her, allegedly on purpose.

The suspect is believed to have been working with an accomplice.
